About the event

In this America250 year, there are many ways to mark the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and that founding document's legacy with the American democratic experiment.  Join the Homestead's Museum Director Paul R. Spitzzeri for a look back at centennial, in 1876, and sesquicentennial, in 1926, commemorations held in Los Angeles, as well as at local and national conditions during those years and how they compare to the environment today.
