About the event
Books can connect us with history in new and exciting ways. Each non-fiction book club series focuses on a subject related to the history of the Los Angeles region between 1830 and 1930. Museum staff will occasionally share items from the museum's collection that pertain to the subject of a book. We ask that participants read the assigned book in time for each meeting.
February 2nd- the book club is reading Mornings on Horseback: The Story of an Extraordinary Family, a Vanished Way of Life and the Unique Child Who Became Theodore Roosevelt by David McCullough. To learn more about this book, click HERE.
You can choose to meet either in-person or on Zoom. Click HERE to be added to our email list or contact us at info@homesteadmuseum.org to learn more.
