The Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum in collaboration with Young Rembrandts, the leading art enrichment program for children, will be hosting a fun summer workshop inspired by Disney’s animated musical, Encanto.

About the event

Surrounded by the beauty of the museum’s historic grounds, students will draw a variety of subjects centered on the themes of family and Latin American culture. For added fun, students will start their 3-day workshop with a short tour of the beautiful 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival mansion, La Casa Nueva. 


This workshop will give children a unique opportunity to be engaged, inspired, and creative! No previous art experience required. Supplies will be provided during class. Ages 7 - 12. Space is limited! 


Please Note: This 3-day workshop is given in partnership with Young Rembrandts. Workshops will take place from 10 a.m.-Noon from June 15-17 and there is a $98 per student participation fee.
