Francisco P. Ramírez & Ygnacio Sepúlveda

Cousins Francisco P. Ramírez and Ygnacio Sepúlveda were two sides of the same coin. 

The Los Angeles natives were precocious and brilliant in their early chosen fields: Ramírez  as the teenaged publisher of El Clamor Público, the Angel City’s first Spanish-language newspaper, and Sepúlveda as a lawyer admitted to the bar at 21 years of age. Ramírez  later entered the legal profession, while his cousin became a judge, then their paths wildly diverged.
