Bring your canvas or sketchbook and let the grounds inspire you. The afternoon is yours to explore!
*Schedule of Events:
12-4 p.m.: Explore the Workman House on a self-guided tour and discover the early history of the Workman and Temple Family
Picnic on the museum grounds or find a spot to paint, sketch, or photograph
Talk with a representative from California Botanic Garden about native plants
Discover the paintings of Walter Temple, Jr. on the historic grounds
Chat with members of the Friendship Square Quilt Guild and enter a raffle to win a quilt
Shop the Museum Store
Visit El Campo Santo, the final resting place of many Workman & Temple friends & family members, including Pio Pico
12, 1, 2, & 3 p.m.: Take a guided tour of La Casa Nueva, our 1920s mansion built for the Temple family
12-2 p.m.: Make paper from plants with artist Danielle Giudici Wallis
2-4 p.m.: Join the Sisters of the One Drum in their drum circle
